Service was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The coffee is amazing! For us, it was branching out of our normal brunch habits and trying some new things, but we really enjoyed everything we tried. My teen loved the sambosas. I recommend Addi’s combo special to get a variety of yummy tastes. We also enjoyed the ful. I bought some of the bagged coffee and am now enjoying it as a treat at home sometimes, but honestly - I would come back even just for the coffee!

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of going out for brunch, and one of our friends took us to Addis Cafe in Virginia. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and we enjoyed reading the thoughtful messages written on the walls. We ordered Shiro, a combo platter, and Chechebsa from the menu. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon, and I highly recommend it.

Mrs Tirsit Wolde was very nice & welcoming as it is my first time in this cafe. She made the most delicious shake without ice and I just loved it. Thanks very much for doing such a good job.

One of the best tasting meals I have had in a long time, the depth of flavors was on par with some of the Micheline Star experiences I’ve had in the DC area. Awaze Tibs were so so good! Mouthwatering meat in delicious medley of sauces and veggies, I couldn’t stop eating it! And the veggie combo plate was nothing short of satisfying with an amazing array of flavors. The Ingera from Ethiopia was incredibly light and tasty. Love this place! The cashier was polite and helpful, and the chef deserves all the compliments! Will definitely be back

Twist Cafe is a small Cafe/ restaurant that offers some of the best Ethiopian entrees as well as Juice and desserts. Amongesy the plethora of Ethiopian delicacy near by Twist stands out for this simple reasons. 1. They have a limited menu which means whatever they make they make it exceptionally well. 2. And perhaps the most important part of it, the people treat you like you are at home. The stuff is literally composed of the nicest people in the world. 3. They are very reasonably priced. As much as the plethora of Ethiopian delicacy in the area some of the most common cristicisms I hear from people is the price. Twist provides excellent service and meal with a fair price wanting you to go back all the time. Bonus. My personal favourite is how the food is always served with "Ethiopian Injera". This completly change your Ethiopian experience as the Injera is the most deciding factor in whether you like the dish or not. The Injera made in America (and no offense to those who make it) can't in any ways offer a true Ethiopian experience. If you make it this far reading my review you are wasting time. Go enjoy your food.
